Becoming a Christ follower is the most important thing you can ever do for yourself in your life. Growing as a Christ follower will only enhance and develop this personal relationship with Christ even more so. There are many ways in which to grow. Attending worship services each week, daily bible reading and quiet time, connecting to Christ through prayer, joining a Community Group, volunteering at your local church, and tithing are all examples of developing growth as a Christ follower. Spiritual growth is not so much "doing" as it is becoming - becoming more like Christ. It's a life-long adventure that takes patience, commitment, and intentional focus. It's not what we do along the way that is most important but what really matters is who we are becoming in the process. Ultimately, the Christian life is about building an intimate relationship with Jesus as the the Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out. At Harvest we encourage and expect our members to grow as a Christ followers.
