Listed below are the ministry that exist at Harvest Church. Look over the list and click on the ministry you are interested in. In each ministry you will find descriptions of the many opportunities that exist within that ministry.   * Attender Care Ministries

r    Grief Ministry Team: First line responders when attenders experience a loss – this team provides presence, empathy and practical help (such as meals) in this compassionate ministry.

r    **Hospital Visitation Team:  This compassionate team visits folks who are hospitalized.  

*   Behind the Scenes Ministries

r     “Game Day” Prep Team:  Sundays are “Game Days” at Harvest.  Every big game needs a program/materials to help folks keep up with what’s happening.  Each week this faithful team finishes and assembles all the printed materials for the next Game Day.

r    **Medical Response Team:  This group of off-duty medical professionals assists with any medical emergencies that may arise during an event.

r    **Money Counting Team:  We count things on Sunday mornings – like money.  If you’re good with math…

r    Office Admin Teams:  Helps the Harvest Admin Staff with a variety of in-house projects:  updating the database, preparing documents, printing materials, etc. 

r    People Counting Team:  We count other things on Sunday mornings – like people.  Just the job for folks who like to know who’s here

r    **Security Team:  Hard to believe that we need such a team.  But we can’t be too careful these days.  

r    **Web Support Teams:  These teams help support the Harvest main and student web sites by researching, drafting, updating media elements, production applications and other aspects of web development.

*   (Discipleship) Adult Ministries

r    Community Group Host:  Opening your home to Harvest attenders and the members of our community for fellowship/discipleship is a practical/loving outreach ministry.  Groups meet weekly at various times.

r    Community Group Facilitator: Persons with gifts in teaching and shepherding can facilitate a group through an approved curriculum with the goal of creating genuine relationships and sharing life together.  Some prerequisites and training apply.

r    Community Group Information Team:  These out going folks man a kiosk in the lobby each week to help Harvesters get connected with a Community Group.

*   (Discipleship) Children’s Ministries

r    Children's Ministry Maintenance Teams:  Sanitizing toys, cleaning/setting up/taking down children’s large and small group rooms will be another new ministry is  the new building.

r    Children’s Ministry Maintenance Teams:  Each week these folks sanitize toys, clean, set up/take down children’s large and small group rooms.

r    **Children’s Ministry Production Teams: Stage crews, and production managers provide an excellent/engaging setting for children’s worship each week. 

r    **Children’s Ministry Registration Team:  Warmly welcoming new families, registering new children, AND escorting them to their classrooms is what this team does. 

r    **Downtown Kids Team: Offering learning activities that provide Christian principles as well as safe and loving care for newborns through  toddlers, this team meets during worship services.  

r    **Midtown Kids Team: Using creative applications to teach scriptural truths for 3 and 4 year olds, this team meets during worship services. 

r    **Midtown Kids Puppet Team:  Our preschoolers have an interactive story and music time.  Hosts, storytellers, and puppeteers, teach timeless Christian principles in entertaining and relevant ways.

r    **Uptown Kids Team: Providing dynamic worship activities for elementary children, Uptown uses scripture teaching/ memorization, games, music, drama, and relationships to disciple kids for Christ. 

r    **Uptown Group Leader: These folks invest in the lives of 8-12 children by establishing genuine relationships with them.  Each week they engage the kids in meaningful discussion and activities.  

r    New Addition Team: This team tracks, supports and visits families welcoming new children into their homes through birth, adoption and custody change.

*   (Discipleship) Student Ministries

r    Student Ministry Information Team:  A great place for our teens to plug in, this team mans a desk in the lobby to answer questions from students and their parents about Harvest Student Ministries. 

r    **Student Ministry ~ Large Group Activities:  These energetic adults help create the fun and inviting atmosphere of large group time for our student ministry – 6th grade thru high school.  

r    **Student Ministry ~ Small Group Leaders:  These folks invest in a group of 8 -10 students; facilitating discussion and helping our students discover and live by truth. 

*   Facilities Ministries

r    Building Maintenance Team:  This team will provide routine and general maintenance so we are good stewards of the facility the Lord has given us.

r    Clean Up Team:   These folks check the Worship Center , Lobby and Rest Rooms before and after each services and events.  They pick up trash, straighten chairs, and generally spiff up. No one likes to use an unkempt public rest room.  So this vital team  also stocks the restrooms with necessities and keeps them looking good.

r    Landscaping Team:  Put your green thumb to work.  This team will help plant and maintain the landscaping at the Harvest campus.

r    Trails Tending Team:  Helps create and maintain walking trails throughout the property.

r    Water Feature Teams:  Helps tend to the water feature elements  on the property. 

*   Guest Services Ministries

r    Cafe~Hospitality Team:  Providing drink refreshments to attenders in an attractive/ inviting way is the goal of this team.  Early risers are best for this team.

r    Food Preparation Team:  Picking up and setting out snacks each week for Harvest guest, attenders and volunteers…this team has a tough job (cutting up those Krispy Kremes) but somebody has to do it.

r    Greeting Team:  What a great place to start!  This team warmly welcomes everyone to Harvest – from the parking lot to the worship center doors where they hand out Sunday morning materials.

r    Information Team:  This team warmly welcomes guests and provides direction and information about Harvest and its activities.

r    Parking Lot Team:  These rugged outdoor folks will help with flow of traffic and maximizing our parking at the new building.  They also offer a friendly greeting and assistance when needed.

r    Usher Team:  This team warmly greets in worship center, assists people in finding a seat and takes up the collection at the end of each service.

*   Media Ministries   (Pre-requisites and training apply to most of these positions; as well as weekly evening rehearsals.)

r    Audio Team: This team sets up and monitors the sound during worship and teaching events.  Prerequisites and training apply to this team.

r    Lighting Team:  This hardworking  team directs the lights during worship service.  (So no one is left :in the dark.")

r    Media Director Apprentice Team:  The folks direct the camera shots, video clips, text overlays, etc. to enhance worship and teaching in the services.. 

r    Media Tech Team: This ministry  runs the technical equipment (computers, etc.) used to accent worship and teaching events; training is provided.

r    Video Camera Team:  This faithful team is responsible for setting up and operating our camera equipment. 

r    Video Production Team:  This team sets up, monitors, tapes and reproduces/duplicates video for various ministries.

*   Worship Ministries

r    Drama Team: Actors, directors, stage support folks who prepare drama pieces in support of other speaking/teaching ministries

r    Instrumental Musician: People with instrumental gifts work closely with our Worship Leaders to create an environment that promotes worship.  Auditions are required and you must provide your own instrument.

r    Set Design Team: These ministers create and set up the worship area by adding attractive design elements.

r    Vocal Musician: Persons with vocal talents pool their gifts for use in various arenas.  Auditions and rehearsals are required.

* Wherever I’m Needed (WIN) Ministry

r    WIN Team: These faithful folks don't care about the where/when/what.  They may be setting up chairs, pouring coffee or working in the parking lot.  They just want to serve.
